Remote Assessments Available

Did you know?? Home and Able does REMOTE assessments!

Let me explain the process:

  1. Connect with me via my website and schedule a complimentary consultation.

  2. Pick a date for our home modification and Aging in Place assessment! For remote assessments, it has worked well to break our assessment down into 2 parts on 2 different days:
    1. The ‘Interview’: Meet on ZOOM to discuss history, goals, background, etc.
      Assessment day
    2. For this to work we need access to a FaceTime or mobile capability to ‘walk’ me around the house in real time.
I make note of specific pictures I need taken, if I am unable to screenshot them myself.
    3. I request measurements based on your goals – for example, if figuring out the right toilet seat height is a goal, then I’ll need measurements of your toilet.

I give you your Aging in Place assessment digitally (it is an option to add on a paper copy mailed to you) and you’ve got your blueprint for Aging in Place from a Certified Aging in Place Specialist.

Our remote assessments are a lower price point, as we recognize the way the client assists us in obtaining the necessary information.

Remote assessments are an amazing way to include family that lives far away from one another.
